In August, a landmark peace deal was concluded between the Colombian government and FARC rebels, ostensibly ending nearly five decades of conflict. An estimated 260,000 people were killed, and many more have been displaced. But what happens to the perpetrators? Is prison the only way to ensure justice? And who will re-integrate former fighters into Colombian society? We put these questions to Ingrid Betancourt. From 2002 to 2008, she was perhaps the most high-profile hostage held by the FARC.
