  • Every year, thousands of people risk their lives crossing continents and seas in search of a better life in Europe, many of them children and young adults. Over the past decade there has been an influx of young Afghans on Italy's shores, most of them arriving on their own with no sign of a family and little in the way of resources. Our team in Rome bring us this special report.
